Part 6: Tuning
When it comes to "beautiful tones," tuning is actually the most important thing.
If it is not tuned, it will be full of overtones, and no matter who hits it, the sound will not be beautiful.
If you're a Cuban who can make you scream, it might be a different story ^^;
So, if you have 5 tuning lags, tune 5 and if you have 6, tune all 6 so that they all sound the same.
By the way, in the case of Kinto, Dore is the most sounding range of the instrument, but even if it is the same sound, it sounds quite wide, but if you raise or lower it a little, the sound may get worse. It also depends on the location.
Therefore, please tune frequently to find and understand the point where your instrument sounds the most.
I check the tuning almost every time before touching the instrument.
In the case of a plastic head, you don't have to make it so much, but in the case of a skin, it expands and contracts depending on the climate, and if you leave it for a while, it will go crazy.
If you continue to use it while the tuning is out of order, the skin will grow unevenly, so be careful as the tuning will never be aligned again.
